Two Midget Majors Selected in 2012 USHL Draft

Congratulations to Midget Majors Drew Callin and Mitch Demario who were selected in yesterdays USHL Entry Draft. Drew was selected in the 14th round by Des Moines and Mitch was selected in the 15th round by Waterloo. Congratulations to both boys from all at the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals and we look forward to seeing more of their accomplishments both on and off the ice.

Former Midget Major Peter Maric Commits to Colorado College

MARIC HEADED TO COLORADO COLLEGE

The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that forward Peter Maric has committed to Colorado College of the Western Colligate Hockey Association. The Tigers are coached by Scott Owens. Former Gamblers coach Eric Rud is an assistant coach for the team. Rud coached the Gamblers to 41 wins and a second consecutive Clark Cup Finals Appearance in 2010.

Maric came to the Gamblers via a trade with the Sioux City Musketeers earlier this season. Currently Maric has scored 4 goals and 13 assists with the Gamblers. Maric also appeared in nine games with the Musketeers producing two goals and two assists. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native spent the 2009-10 season with the Anderson Cup champion Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. In 55 games with the RoughRiders, Maric notched 5 goals and 12 assists. Prior to his time in the USHL, Maric played his midget AAA with the Milwaukee Junior Admirals.

Midget Major Drew Callin Earns Invite to National Camp

Congratulations to Midget Major Drew Callin on earning a spot from Central District to the USA Hockey National Camp in Rochester. Drew is a 1995 birth year player who played with the midget major team last seson earning 41 points (24 goals and 17 assists) over 51 games played. Drew came into the season with a great attitude and work ethic to make each and every moment on the ice count. This is Drew's second trip to National Camp, his first was in 2009 as a 14 year old. Congratulations to Drew on his hard work and earning a spot to National Camp from all at the Milwaukee Jr Admirals !
