Letter of Endorsement from Midget Parent

Dear Prospective Parent of the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals:

I am writing to express my support for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals organization. Last season, my son Carter (1993 birth date) joined the Jr. Admirals upon the relocation of our family from Canada to the Milwaukee area. We weren’t sure, quite frankly, what to expect of the caliber of hockey in the area nor what we would be getting into with the Jr. Admiral’s organization. What we found was an organization that tried very hard to put the interests of the kids first and to put them in situations where they would have the opportunity to be seen by college recruiters as often as possible.

The schedule we played was very competitive and we had good success often beating many of the minor midget teams from rival organizations.
The highlights of the year for us were our college visits to Notre Dame, Miami of Ohio, Ferris and St. Cloud as well as the trips to Shattuck and Culver. Our participation in the Nike Bauer tournament was also a great experience for the boys (sorry, and girl) matching us up against the best 15 and 16 year olds from the US, as well as several teams from Canada and Europe. My son had the chance to develop as a player and a person under a very good coach and role model in Ulvis Katlaps.
Finally, since academics are very important to us, we appreciated the way the organization attempted whenever possible to limit the number of days of school missed and encouraged study time for the boys on the road. This kind of positive peer pressure is always a good thing.

We are really looking forward to the upcoming season. I believe the participation of the Jr. Admirals in the new North American Prospects Hockey League will be a significant opportunity for the kids to play in several showcase tournaments and gain further exposure to college recruiters while playing against top-level competition. We are satisfied that the Jr. Admirals is the best option for our son to develop his hockey skills over the course of the season and to put him in the best position possible to advance to higher levels of hockey in the future.

If you have any questions that you would like to discuss with someone who has experienced the benefits of the Jr. Admirals organization, please feel free to give me a call or drop me an email.
