Jeana Schindler

16U Girls Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach - Jeana Schindler

Jeana's hockey playing career started just like a lot of female hockey players in Wisconsin. She started on an all boys team through Squirts, then at u12 started double rostering with the girls team out of Black River Falls.  She also played summer hockey for Western Wisconsin Blue Devils AAA team.

In 2010 Jeana's high school career started with playing for Team Wisconsin. Jeana's sophomore through senior year (2012-2014), Jeana was the starting goalie for the Onalaska Hilltoppers, finishing each season in the State Tournament.

Jeana's coaching experience started while she was still playing high school hockey for Onalaska.  Her Sophomore through Senior year, she volunteered every Sunday to coach young goalies. Her coaching career officially started in the Madison area in the fall of 2018 where she served as the assistant coach for the 16U WEHL team. For the last two years, she has been coaching with the Madison Mavericks serving as an assistant/goalie coach. At the end of the 2018-2019 season she was part of the Region 4 Kohlman Cup coaching staff, and was also on the Waunakee Wildcats 14U coaching staff.

Jeana joined the MJA Coaching Staff in the 2020-2021 season, and has been a tremendous asset for our program and players.
