The Milwaukee Jr Admirals are proud to announce that MJA alumni Zach Metsa has been named a finalist for Best Defensive Defenseman in the ECAC.

Zach played his entire youth career with MJA. After his final year of AAA hockey in 2015-2016, Zach played two years of Jr hockey in the BCHL and the USHL.

Zach is in his Jr season with the Quinnipiac Bobcats of the ECAC. Recently the ECAC announced Zach as one of three finalists for the Best Defensive Defenseman award. Zach was also the leading scoring defenseman in all of D1 hockey with 25 points in 27 games played. Congrats Zach!
