The 2020-2021 NCAA Division 1 regular season and league playoffs have concluded. All that remains is the NCAA Tournament. Before that begins, we want to congratulate all of our MJA alumni that competed in their respective league championships over the past week.

The Big Ten tournament concluded with a championship game between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Gophers. MJA's hockey director and 16U head coach, Matt Murray, is a Badger alum. Noah Grannan (2002) signed his NLI with the University of Wisconsin earlier this season.

The NCHC tournament championship game was decided by the University of North Dakota and St Cloud State University. MJA alum Joey Lamoreaux (1999) is a current member of the Huskies and will be joined in the future by Max Montes (2003) once his Jr career concludes.

The AHA league championship was contested by Canisius College and American International College. Former Jr Admiral Sam Miller (1999) is in his freshman year at AIC.

Finally, the ECAC championship game was a spirited affair between Quinnipiac University and St Lawrence University. Zach Metsa (1998) is in junior year as a member of the Bobcats while Jake Nielsen (1998) is in his senior campaign as a member of the Saints.

Congratulations to all, and best of luck to all of our alums that will be competing at the NCAA National Tournament!
