MJA would like to congratulate Trace Shumlas for signing a tender to play for the Provo Predators of the NCDC. Trace currently leads the MJA 18U team in scoring by a defenseman, with 5g 25a for 30 points in 40 games played. Trace will join former teammates Will Rotar and Leo Burns who both signed with and are playing in Provo this season. "Trace is so deserving of this opportunity. He has been relentless in his pursuit of becoming a Jr level player. His hard work has paid off as he has taken a big step forward this season. His game is very well rounded and he has proven that he can drive the play on both ends of the rink. We're proud of him and we look forward to following his progress," states Coach Adamek.
