MJA is extraordinarily proud to announce that Zach Metsa made his NHL debut for the Buffalo Sabres on Monday night, Oct 20th. The Delafield, WI native played in the Jr Admirals program for seven years. His last year wearing the anchor was in 2015-2016. From there, Zach has had an amazing journey, including leading the Quinnipiac Bobcats to their first ever Division 1 National Championship in 2022-2023. Later that year, he made his professional hockey debut with the Rochester Americans of the AHL. Earlier this year, although only entering his 3rd full professional season, Zach was named captain of the Americans. After a few injuries and roster decisions made in Buffalo, Zach got the call up and played his first NHL game at the legendary Bell Centre in Montreal. Congratulations Zach, we couldn't be more proud!
