2004 Boys Win T1EHL Columbus Showcase Championship!

Congratulations to the 2004 MJA Boys team on winning the Championship at the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League Showcase in Columbus this weekend!  

The 2004 Boys finished pool play 3-1 with wins versus the Tri-State Spartans (3-2), Ohio Blue Jackets (4-2), and Belle Tire (5-3), and a loss to the St. Louis Jr. Blues (5-2).  This earned them the top seed out of their pool, and a matchup vs. The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers in the Championship Game,

The Flyers took the lead in the second period, 1-0.  The boys battled back in the 3rd period with a goal from Keaton Peters with 4:20 left in the 3rd.  The Admirals went on the Power Play with 2:20 left in the game, and with :07 left on the Power Play (:27 in the game), Landon MacDonald banged home the game winning goal on assists from Keaton Peters and Matthew Grannan.

Congratulations Coaches MacDonald and Marion, and the boys on a great weekend of hockey, and your T1EHL Showcase Championship!
