The 2004 MJA boys continued their roll, on their way to another T1EHL Showcase title, this time in Columbus.

The boys started pool play with a tough battle vs. the St. Louis Jr. Blues.  They skated to a 1-1 tie.  They followed up with dominating performances vs. Tri-State Spartans (7-0), Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (6-0), and the Ohio Blue Jackets (4-1).

The 04's squared off against a familiar foe in the Championship Game, playing Fox Motors for the sixth time this season.  And like previous match-ups, this too was a battle.  The team was paced by 2 goals each from Keaton Peters and Landon MacDonald in regulation.  Fox Motors tied the game at 4 with 25 seconds remaining on a Power Play goal.  There were no goals in the 4 on 4, 5 minute overtime, and so the game headed to a shootout.

Maccoy Barry was a stud in net, turning away all 3 shooters in the regulation shootout,  Unfortunately, so was the Fox Motors tender.  He continued his dominance in sudden-death, and turned away the first two shooters before finally surrendering a goal on the 6th shot.  JR Nelson buried the pressure-filled tying goal, forcing a 7th round.  Maccoy again turned away the Fox Motors shooter, and Matthew Grannan sealed the victory with a wrist shot to the high blocker side.

Congratulations boys on a second consecutive T1EHL Showcase win!
